Default re: Pricing

Yeah.... this is really true. Some of the people on the site who quote those low prices are just bragging about especially good deals they got -- and usually only when they haggled with an individual they bought it from directly, paying in full with cash.

In my own situation, I knew I didn't have the money to pay for one of these cars straight out, and I didn't want to own a total of 3 vehicles anyway. So my only option was looking for one at a dealer and trading in my Jeep. I managed to find a Crossfire that the dealer was originally asking around $22K for, but had JUST dropped the asking price to under $17K. IMO, I got a good deal because this was an SRT-6 convertible w/44K miles on it. But no, it didn't have flawless paint. (Besides some small scrapes on the rear bumper, it has a really odd ring shaped series of scrapes on the top, just to the right of the trunk lid. Looks like maybe a magnetic-mount CB antenna was there for a while and scraped it up...)

If you want cheap, look some where else.
