All the fuses are colored ( by amperage rating ) clear plastic. You just look at a fuse and if the little metal loop thingey inside is broken, then that dog ain't gonna hunt.
NOTE - you have to remove the fuse to look at it
You can buy fuses at :

AutoZone
Advance
O'Reillys
Sears
and maybe even Wal-Mart or you local grocery store in the auto section.
Sometimes there are spares in the fusebox itself labeled 'spare'
