Personally, I don't care for it. If you were to go the scoop route, I would look at something like the twin scoops from a 69-70 Super-Bee maybe?

I do like Waldig's hood treatment, though. It is more subtle, and retains the stock lines.
Or...How about some old-school hot-rod hood louvers?
