The shop I brought it to increased the piping to 2.5 to match the muffler size as you were speaking of. And then I chose single in dual exhaust tips that I liked which were from a C6 corvette. Your prob wondering why I did a single offset in muffler and thats because the dual muffler in like the one you posted, are to far apart from stock, so there wont be any room for the exhaust tips to fit in the exhaust section of the car if you welded them back on. Trust me, just do my setup and it will be a piece of cake. The shop will have the piping, so dont worry about that.
