Im 18 and ive had my xfire for a little over a year now, my friend whos got a charger has put an exhuast and a CAI + a chip and has made me realize i need to lock it up and get my *** in gear. Ofcourse the first thing thats going to need to go is the stock exhuast. ive done some research and know that the way to go is cat back and prefferable a maganflow. does anyone know a good place to obtain one from, also prefferably the cheapest way to do this. any suggestions are much appreciated!!
As long as you realize your not going to get any appreciable HP gains from an exhaust system, I suggest you look up (search) the forum on the systems available. The biggest gains for the N/A have come from 74mm TB and MAF housing, descreen the MAF plastic screen and debaffle the TB elbow, a eurocharged tune, and a CAI. The tune can be reflashed as many times as you mod the car so I would get that right away, then you can do the CAI or the 74mm TB upgrade as you can.
BTW, the tune is on sale right now until end of month, 300 bucks for the cable and tune, thats quite a savings!
