gonna have a local Mercedes mechanic look at it in the morning. Drove it around the block a second time, with alittle more confidence and alittle further. No problems whatsoever. Decided the RCM was too new to crack open so will be waiting a few months to do that. Again, I believe it may have been the heat as it was sitting parked all day in the direct sun and it was recorded as the fifth hottest day on record.
