Ok, is it 6.1 qts or 8 qts of oil? I bought 10 quarts of Mobil-1 0-40 at WalMart and picked up the M-B filter at the dealer on the way home from work.

The owners and service manuals say 6.1 quarts but i read 8 quarts here.

The oil is currently at the top of the plastic tip on the dipstick and the FSS says high level. Earlier today it said OK but the ground may be stlightly different between the two places it was parked.

Do I have to measure what comes out?!?!
