FFFFFFUUUUUUUDDDDDDGGGGGGGEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so pissed off right now, i have a buddy who has a merc and has the trans fluid dipstick, so we check the fluid and it doesnt even touch the stick. so we go to the parts store and the only thing they have is valvoline import full synthetic which list MB236.10 as one of its recommended uses, so we buy 3 quarts (more to be safe then sorry) and we get back and top it off until it reads full (1.75 quarts) so we take it for a spin and 2 miles in the trans starts slipping so we crawled it home and parked it.

now i have to flush it completely with the MB stuff cuz i was an idiot and bought the cheap ****....... fuming here but answer this. why did it start slipping when the fluid claimed to be correct??????????

well i would have had to flush it if i i put a new torque convertor anyways.....
