Yes it is wrapped up in a harness that runs from the flap controlled under the glove box, through the firewall, then across the firewall in the engine bay heading what looks like back the transmission. Then it exits the harness and runs to the lower portion unde rthe throttle body.

If you want to see the flap you can do so by removing the fan motor or pulling the shroud from under the windshield wipers and it will be in plain sight.

You do care if you want cold AC on hot days
