8.5 quart capacity.. most (including me) put 8 quarts in and call it good.
And yeah , after draining, I refill through the oil filter location. I prefer to do the drain plug.. gives me a chance to notice any leaks and inspect other components.
8 quarts here too. I figure you'll never get all of the oil out so 8.5 is too much.
