I was within and angels breath of putting in a clarion marine deck as it had most of the features I wanted and matched the silver stack. I instead installed a Pioneer DEH-P9400BH as well as a USB plug and BT mic. The install went smooth enough and there was plenty of options to hide cables ect for the USB and Mic. The USB ended up just finding a snug home to the left of the control stack. I'll probably afix it somehow but as a pressure fit right now, its snug. The BT audio is fantastic for stero/streaming but the hands-free has too much distortion/noise :| I'm going to pull the deck and relocate the wire in the event it is too close to a source of signal noise..
The black deck actually looks sharp in person though I am going to go ahead and paint the trim surround silver. I will also be installing a silver carbon-fiber dash kit in the next few days.
When I have the opportunity I'll also share about the Kiwi OBD2 BlueTooth reader and Torque app running on a tablet that is dash mounted. It definately placed being a data geek over asthetics but I did find a dash mount that is fairly streamlined.
