Re: Roadster rear window problem solved?
Greetings all.
Last June I posted a narrative describing how I fixed my rear window, and then, shortly thereafter, I sold my SRT-6 Roadster to my 90 year old mother-in-law (yes, 90 years young!). Well, for better or worse, she just moved in with my wife and I, and I now have my old SRT-6 to play with once again!
Since speedy (my mother-in-law) didn't have a garage where she used to live, the car was kept outside 100% of the time during the past year or so that she has owned it. Curious, I took a real close look at my previous repair job, and luckily, it still looks like new. So, perhaps there is a fix.
I just finished reading this entire thread, and was happy to see that some of you have found some recourse with Chrysler regarding your ragtops. Since my car was a Florida dealership delivery, the service bulletin (sb-23035-11reva) probably applies to me, but given that my top is still in like new condition, I think that I am just going to leave well enough alone, for now... A question that does come to mind is if anyone sees any reason for me to at least bring it to a chrysler dealer and go on record about the rear window issue? Advice?
It's great to be back!
Best regards to all -- Bob
