Thanks for the info. I just typed in my VIN in the recalls section and unfortunately it was returned as "no outstanding recalls for your vehicle"! I assume it was replaced before but still broke down! Now I'm going to have to bite the bullet and pay for replacement. The shop I took it to asked $342 for parts and labor. Not too bad I assume but still expensive. I saw the part online somewhere for $120 bucks.

Going to shop around a bit and see if I can get it done for cheaper. It sucks that this is not covered as a recall since it's obviously a POS fan!
