Actually no one won the war. But to say Canada invaded and destroyed Detroit, you need to open a history book. The city was undefended. Sort of like invading a wal-mart. However, at the end of the war, both sides occupied parts of the other's land, but these areas were restored by the
Treaty of Ghent. So there was no winner. We all need to get over it. It was 200 years ago.
