Hi rfourt,

Welcome. You will find there are more than a few Slk32 owners who are active here (I have 3 SLK32's myself). 32krazy comes to mind as an active SLK32 owner here who has yet to meet a mod he didn't try on his car. Buggin, another slk32 driving forum regular, got the ball rolling on the wavetrac groupbuy that so many of us here are very grateful to have in our cars.

And yes, this forum (and it's cool Crossfire crowd) is far more "mod"-active than the Slk forums (and SLK owners in general). As an example, I created a paddle shifter kit for Slk32s (thinking they would be all over it) .... there were oohs and ahs among SLK owners, but so far, only 5 SLK32 owners have ended up doing the MOD while at the same time I have supplied the same paddle-shifter kits to about 30 Crossfire owners.

You will find that with rare exceptions, the SLK32 is the same as a Crossfire. The only fundamental differences that come to mind are in the lateral acceleration/yaw circuitry. Mechanical differences like wheel size, spring/shock rates and exhaust components (and of course, exterior sheet metal and interior finish pieces) are really the only places where the parts list diverge.

As a fellow SLK32 owner who has been graciously excepted into this cool crowd (or at least feels like he has been : ), I say ... welcome aboard.
Chris
