Default Re: Roadster rear window problem solved?

Hi Everyone,
I have gone the route of talking to a Locktite Technical Rep who discussed the rear window fallout problem with his fellow application engineers. My car is a 2008 Roadster. I continued to use the top up and down a lot since bringing the car from Florida to Ontario Canada in May. I detailed earlier how to check the top when initial stages of not so obvious detachment. Interrupt the top storage cycle with the top at the top of it's cycle. Since May the glass has further detached to 50 percent of the lower edge and up one side and around the upper corner.
This is a report of the new refastening system I am trying as a test for all those who are not being supported by Chrysler till numbers and noise causes them to help with this problem
The product is available thru industrial sources primarily. Loctite 5572 comes in a calking style tube and is black in nature. It has the consistence of a silicone calking.
I did not remove the product still stuck to the glass, i chose to bond the fabric which was clean and wiped only with a paper towel. this is a "kiss" method fix!
Release the turn handle and operate the top cycle till the top starts to cycle. Punch a hole in a garbage bag and tuck it under the top to protect the paint from spills. The hole in the garbage bags corresponds to the latch position. Reverse the top cycle to re attach the pull down rear latch. Do not pull down and attach the front edge of the top with the handle till a couple of hours have passed after your repair has concluded. Squeeze a 1/8th bead along the glass edge over the failed glue product. Pick a finger and apply glue evenly. There will be some get on the glass, ignore it till tomorrow for removal with a razor blade. Gently tuck a half used roll of paper towel against the glass. I used a toilet roll on the side of the glass. Added a little Hi Speed tape as needed (Duct tape).
Go have a drink of your favourite beverage. Come back in 20 minutes and admire your work. Press on the fabric a little. Hands off the spilt glue till tomorrow. Come back in 2 hours and latch the top.
I am leaving the top up for 7 days till the glue reaches full cure.
Day 2- did clean-up with a razor blade.
Total repair time 20 minutes.
As a test I pushed hard with two fingers. Nothing moves. Feels like hard rubber but has flex like silicone products.
I will report any negative occurrence or a update in a month.

I humbly suggest I am the guinea pig for a while on a test bases. Hears Hoping!!!
