I've test driven a SRT6 several times in the last few weeks. All was well until I U-turned the car and accelerated hard. The car went to what felt like a false neutral. I thought maybe I hit the shifter or something. My dad has a 2003 C320 that did something similar and now the tranny's being replaced. I decided to walk away...

Well, today I drove it again. I accelerated onto the highway to almost 80mph and coasted for a few seconds. All of a sudden, the car down shifted hard enough to chirp the back tires. I wasn't in the throttle at all. Any thoughts? I was hoping to purchase the car for cheap. Cheap enough so that worst case I wouldn't lose money if it needs tranny work but this was too scary!
