I've just read this thread with interset as I find myself in a similar position. Although I had had many cars over the years (I used to work for dealerships) and I've owned a couple of odd cars

Anyway after then having bikes for the next 7 years (a different one every 3 months)

I then decided to get another car. Now the car to me is a toy, I have a New Avensis as my daily driver and the Mrs has a Bettle Cabriolet.



So I considered all the options and ended up buying another MX5 (2001 Sport Model) I spent loads of money personalising it and to be honest I just never gelled with it. I guess I was comparing it to my old one. So i have decided the MX5 has to go (I inly bought it in April) and like the OP I am considering a XF (Roadster).
