I only checked it against a pop-over type (Proto) that I've had for 5 years. It's within a few % over the range specified in the manual.
It's been my experience that piezoelectric load cells keep their accuracy virtually forever. Their characteristics do not change over time, unlike pop-over and torque-beam instruments.
I do not have access to a calibrated torque tester ($2K-$20K) so, that's all I can tell you.
As I recall, alaxfire (my buddy) bought one during the last sale and has been very happy with his.
It ain't a Matco or Snap-On, but it ain't $400 either!
