I thought this thread was dead. I did get mine rebuilt locally.

Note I said in the OP the Valeo and Bosch units do NOT interchange. My car has the Valeo, so the posts linking to Bosch sales will not help a member with a Valeo alternator.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.
