I'm calling it a "stud" because their invoice says "reimbursement for wheel stud broken while in service". I wouldn't think much of a tire store that couldn't fix a common problem like this. I can't believe they would even let the car leave their facility. The liability for this IS huge on their part especially admitting it in writing. Take it from this old cop, they need to fix their screw up for free, and put your car back into service.
