Default Re: Are crossfires crap? Honestly

I bought mine with only 3800 miles on it and it now has about 8000. It looks beautiful with no cosmetic problems but has and continues to give more trouble than my 50 year old Covairs of which I have several. The RCM failed, actually several times before it stayed failed so it could be diagnosed. The self dimming mirror stays dimmed, and a side mirror broke. The tire pressure sensors are useless. There seems to be no end. The vehicle is just too complex and unreliable to be useful transportation.
A contributing problem is that the local Dodge/Chrysler dealer knows nothing about a Crossfire and I had to resort to the Mercedes dealer to find the RCM problem. Thank goodness I have a reliable Corvair to fall back on.
