I'm surprised you had trouble with the Griots clay bar. Griots is all I use and I've never had a problem. Im kind of wondering if you got a bad batch as well. I've even clay bar'd a black car in direct sunlight. Yep, it was hot but I think the hotter the better with the griots clay bar. If its cold outside forget it. Griots clay seems to have to be warm and use tons of speed shine. I'd be inclined to contact griots for a refund or replacement myself. This all just shows how much we like these cars doesn't it? :-)
