I have stock-sized Hankook Ventus v12s on my car now (that's what was on it when I bought it used last September). I agree, even with plenty of tread left, they are much slicker and less grippy than they were just a few months ago. I definitely want to try the 295/30/19 S-04 but i'm a little worried that the extra width on a stock rim will cause the tires to feel splashy or spongey on hard turns. Have you had any problem with this? (It seems like I read in another thread somewhere that 275s felt good but 285s and 295s started to feel a little more sloppy. Has anyone found that to be true?)
