Roy: I agree with you wholeheartedly, but I am still amazed at the film every time I watch it, and what a beautifully simple little story... I was first introduced to the short movie by a cinematographer by the name of Nick McLean, one of my mentors. He has shot such memorable films as Close Encounters, Smokey and The Bandit, Deliverance to name a VERY few, and did all of the aerial cinematography on The Right Stuff.
The best part of the whole movie is the mystery that surrounded it. Some say it was staged, some say it was more than one take and edited together. And the mystery behind "who was this alleged F1 driver" have never been answered. LeLouch, who is in his 70's now, still refuses to give details...
