Yea, you have a problem - you are arguing with onehundred80, no one wins a debate with him! He's like an "Intellectual Ninja Canadian".

It closes and stays closed from what I read, I just can't see his problem. The latch is the very thing he says he pinches, front and back. It will shut without the pinch by pulling it back and then pushing it forward. Just pushing it forward makes it click slightly, my first did and my current car still does.

The first sprang up to easily, a real pain on a manual tranny car and my latest is reluctant to spring up at all and this suits me just fine.
