I've wondered about this very thing...according to my UG, the best MPG I can get coasting in gear is about 98 MPG. When I put the car in neutral, depending on speed, I've seen as high as 211 MPG. My car is an '05 with autostick, set in S mode...our previous Sebring didn't exhibit the same symptoms, neither did the two Saturns, the Astro van, Mustang LX, Honda Prelude, Olds Eighty-Eight... it seems that the Xfire is almost a manual in that respect...
