Default Re: No more street racing for me.

If John did all that for me, I would ask who he had killed.... but it is good advise, but very few ever really do it... I may have just worked my last shift as a police officer today. I just haven't decided. But, back to the speeding. If you are a gear head, and yes, even cops are gear heads, you will go and play with your car somewhere. Hopefully somewhere on a closed course, or least traveled road...not in traffic per se. But as others have stated, if you do the crime be ready to pay the fine. My old signage in the cruiser borrowed from a trooper buddy of mine stated "Sometimes you get the bear, sometimes the bear gets you". It is just the way it is. If you are dangerous, the crime increases. If you are just "testing" your car out, lol. Don't you think we know that? We have a car wash where I can always, always make a traffic stop If I chose to. You already know why. LOL... and that is my point. You know exactly what you are doing. Just like me. Just be safe in what you do. There are times and places to play, and there are times you shouldn't. I love cars, and love to talk to fellow gear heads. But I had a job to do as well...it just depended on what the guy did as to where it was a verbal warning, a written warning or a citation. Sometimes the citation resulted out of attitude...so keep that in mind....be safe... John....take the keys out of the ignition, hold both hands out the window...lol....you crack me up....
