I received mine yesterday too, and put it on the car tonight.

I didn't have any silicone RTV or anything, but I did have some Loctite Red (the kind meant to lock bolts in place permanently, until heat of at least 450 degrees F or so is applied to the area), so I put some of that on the back of the emblem before affixing it.

Think that will do the trick, or was that probably not the best plan?
