Two ideas. One would be to drill a hole in the door and install a spare adjustable hood bump stop I bought for my CF. That would give me a threaded mount with a slit at the end I could use to precisely trim the stop point out. I would have to adjust it under the outside cowling I just put back. The other idea I'm gonna try first is a rubber cap cut down the center to put over the center pane in the center of where the door rest when down. It's a narrow pane in front of the door. I wish I could put that bump stop on that center pane but it's too narrow to drill through. Thoughts?

I cut a slit down some rubber hose and wrapped that pane but the ID is to large for the diameter of the pane...
