You're running 3", right?
Yea I read that and lost my interest. I could get a 3 to 2.25 aluminum reducer but I don't think any of that is even worth doing. Not at this point in time.
The tear drop Cry02 system has already been done by Jake and Andy, and even though IT REDUCED their intake temps, from filter to supercharger, by 50 degrees (!?!?!?!?!), the noticed NO real difference.
Because after it hits the supercharger, the air is 350-400 degrees. With a 50 degree drop in intake, they still only see a 0-5 degree drop after it leaves the supercharger... So with that said, increasing the intake temps didn't do as much as they thought it would. What they decided to do was cool the temps AFTER the supercharger but BEFORE the intake manifold, as much as possible. Because colder air = denser air = more particles of oxygen in the same amount of space = bigger explosions = more power.
So yea.......
