Yeah, not really good for an engine to sit for that long without servicing or some sort of preventative maintenance.
I'd make a little side wager that all of the '04's that have been sitting on the lot for 1.5 years develop engine problems within the first 6 months after purchase...
We all know how to store a car for a lengthy time... do you think the dealers took those precautions ? NOPE !!!
I see scored pistons, cracked rings and a multitude of valve and lifter problems...
