Okay, I ran to Wal Mart and picked up the keys for the radio. I have removed the radio and retrieved all of the info I will need (I guess?). Can the keys be removed without damaging anything? The radio still plays, but the amplifier apparently is causing a short which drained the battery. I don't know if the amplifier can be repaired. I have been told to replace the radio. At the dealer, they estimated $600 to $800. I have seen replacements on the internet and needed the model # etc. to make an usable switch. Until I do that I would like to continue to use this radio. The problem is, when the fuse was removed to stop the battery from being drained, I now am without the electric door locks.
My question now is, can I remove the keys from the radio without damaging anything? Thanks for the help!! gcong
