I think the best option is to just remove the two rear cats. Under normal driving it sounds stock. When you get on it it sounds mean. No drone what so ever. Leave the muffler. And the rear cats are after the O2 sensors so no codes either. I am 47 and this was the right choice for me. But when I was 18 I probably would have removed everything too.
