Dave ... sorry to hear about your problems. You might want to contact Rudy (rcompart). He might have some sources for an intercooler. He was connected with Speedriven, who are gurus for Mercedes performance. Just a suggestion .....
Have you checked your tranny fluid level? Maybe a leaking transmission connector.
