Hope you get it sorted , I hated having misfire
I can tell you that i hate to have misfires !
The fact is, for a "shaky engine" problem, you're telling me all of these :
  • vacuum leak somewhere
  • new motor mounts
  • maf
  • cps (CRANKshaft //OR// CAMshaft POSITION SENSOR ??? ...... or both ?)
  • bad ignition coils
This makes a lot of hypothesis !
I will start with the cheaper ones, MAF being the winner in this category !!!
Motor mounts wouldn't be so expensives at all ... and, ignition coils pack are 130€ for the 6 units.
But who says "replace ignition coils packs" says "replace the sparks wires too" ... so add a 130€ too for the sparks wires ... which makes a total of 260€ ... This is not the price of a MAF sensor ... but at least, it is expensive.

By the way, wouldn't the "check engine" light should be on when there is misfires ?
Or, perhaps, when it doesn't come from ignition, but something else, there is no "check engine" light showing up ?
