Hi RL ...Thanks for the info...The tech emptied the system he said there was a lot of air in the system...he then re-filled it..he looked on the fusebox cover ..it gives a pressure 88 I think..the meter he was using showed 88 once he had charged the system...he then ran the aircon...it was a hot day...but there was no cold air...the pipe was cold...having said that he had just filled it..He left the car running ...but the pipe never got cold ..when I press the A/C button...I can here the A/C clutch engage an the engine changes note slighty and when I switch the A/C off it seems to go off...and the engine note changes again..The tech said it was fully gassed and he had already checked for leaks...and wasnt sure why it was not working..I am not sure about the freon amount.....Thanks again..Dax
