Re: Coolant leak
I have taken off the passenger side intake plenum and all I see is a very small amount of oil on the gasket and some in the hose joints. the oil looks clean. There is no accumulation of oil on the plenum itself and none of the mess said to accumulate without the catch can, I have a catch can but it has only been on a week, so 23,000 miles with no catch can.
The engine oil looks quite normal, I am having an oil analysis at Blackstone to check for antifreeze in it.
If it is the Inter cooler leaking is it possible to leak and not get into the airstream? I have no idea what it looks like under the super charger. Raderman (?) said he had a leak there and there was a mess under the SC, but did he have antifreeze in the airstream as well?
Basically the question is, with a leak in the IC does it always get into the airstream?
