HELP - Ghosts in my speakers!
There are no new problems with our Crossfires, right? I hope so, and that someone figured out an easy answer to fix it. I have ghosts in my passenger side stereo speaker. Basically, white noise type static that comes and goes (mostly comes) regardless whether the radio head unit is on or off. I suppose I need to perform a stereo exorcism.
I'm assuming that the amp is powered up whether or not the head unit is on, and based upon my own very limited experience with home steareos and guitar amps it sounds like there's either a bad wire or connection from the amp to the passenger side speakers and that's causing the feedback. But I'm only guessing here. That said, I hate just taking it to a stereo shop without some idea of what the fix is. Has anyone successfully dealt with this issue? Any good recommendations for a stereo shop in the Long Island NY area?
