Default New Top For Roadster

I live in Central Florida and have a 2005 Roadster, at 43,000 miles we noticed that the glass was seperating from the top itself. We are not sure how long this problem had been going on. I called Chysler at 800-247-9753 about this problem. Four days later my case manager called me and told me that there was nothing they could do. I advised her that I knew this was an issue with many of the roadsters in the Southeast and that Chrysler is also aware of this. I also got the dealer I go to involved and they were a huge help and talked to her as well. I called her again and said I would not except no for an answer and that I wanted this elevated to someone higher up. About 2 days later the dealer called and said Chrysler would replace the top if I paied the portion of $500.00. This past Monday the new top was installed by the dealer and looks great. Have not put the top down yet as I was told to wait 3 or 4 days. Will probably give it a couple extra days before I do so. You really have to be persistant when dealing with Chrysler, just tell them you are not going away and will keep fighting the fight! They are well aware of this problem and the dealer I go to even told me so and said that Chrysler should replace all the tops on the 2005 roadsters. Good luck to all those who have this same problem!
