Does anyone know if the ECU in the Crossfire is the same as the Bosch ECU in the SLK?

I have setup an appointment with a local performance shop to look at mine and see if it can take the same chip as the SLK. My appointment isn't until next week and I don't want to get my hope up too high.

He said if it is the same as the SLK he can give me about 35 more horsepower and about 40 more pounds of torque for $400.00.
