We are giving away a Camaro where I work for charity. It is a Lingenfelter Conversion. 600hp 6 speed with a suspension/brembo set up. A 'vert to boot. Car is in the $88K retail area. I will be posting the info soon, since it will not be given away until Feb '13. It is #1 of 100 Panther Versions they will build this year. What does this have to do with the discussion. Well, I have found these conversions are nice car show internet discussion bragging rights cars. But, I don't find many as quick as a 7 yr old 6 cylinder... You still have to hook up to get down the track... just sayin' ... I would take it, if I WON it, but I will never buy one.... ZO6, ZR1, yes, they are some real race cars right out of the box....and not to be taken lightly, but at a huge price... I will keep my cheap outdated 6 cylinder...

I forgot to add, it is black, has some very cheap gold trim and stripes added. Not really impressed. I like the brakes/suspension set-up and the motor...but I don't see $88K here...anyway, I will start a thread dedicated to the charity, in case anyone is interested in buying a chance at it. Last year we gave away an Orange County Chopper....
