Default Re: Headliner reupholstering..

I've got my headliner out of the car.. been driving that way for a couple of weeks now... (sure is noisy during a downpour...LOL) So I've stripped the old material off of what looks to be a pressed paper, or foam material, and I've got new material to replace the fabric with... I've got the headliner on the table, and I'm looking at it wondering if anyone has ever tried just painting it... Maybe covering it with Fiber Glass cloth and resin, or maybe even Rhino Liner. I used Denatured Alchohol and a plastic spatula to strip off the old foam, and most of the old adhesive, and I'm searching now to find something to get the rest of the "Sticky stuff" off the fiber board...

So has anyone tried some kind of a "Spray Cover" ?
