There are two qualifiers on the oil changes, the 7000 miles and one year, whichever comes first. 15 months doesn't cut it the oil is 3 months overdue.
This is the first time I have gone over a year on any of my cars by following FSS. I check the owners manual at 1 year point and did not see any time limit. Going to look for that 1 year change again.
It is my belief that it is only the FSS system that requires the MB approval.
