Default Re: SRT vs standard Roadster

I love the SRT6 and almost bought one. I decided against it for a couple reasons. First, I initially was going to use the car as a daily driver and the suspension just wouldn't be great having to commute into DC every day. Second, I don't like the spoiler. Third, while I like the look of the wheels they are a b**** to clean (I have another car with hard to clean wheels and while I love the wheels, it sucks to clean them). Lastly, insurance. Only having it available as an auto stick wasn't an issue for me. I'm done with shifing during rush hour.........

My compromise was the NA Crossfire. Still quick, I still love the wheels, still handles well, less stiff on bumps, I like the clean look without the whale tail spoiler and I like the pop-up too. For those who say it's under powered.........I don't agree. It serves its purpose well and it quick and fun to drive. I did howver up the ponies by doing a Eurocharge Tune, high flow filters and will likely do a bigger CAI as well. Even with just the Eurocharge......wow, it's fun.

I may someday get another XFire. It may be an SRT6 roadster, or it may just be a roadster.......Hmmmm
