Re: Heard some strange news
I don’t really know the credibility or knowledge of the rep I spoke to at the auction. I far as I know could have been a DM employee or just some one with a weekend gig! To me like most of you, it does matter I bought the car because I like it!!! Forget about buying it for investment, I bought it for the fun of driving!!! Car collecting is a hobby for people who enjoy it and can afford it. I can’t afford to buy a 50 year old bus for 4 mil-plus.
What I don’t like is buying a car that the dealer has problems fixing with out breaking other stuff or installing more scratches then I care for.
I would think that if DM really wanted to help push the sales of the Crossfire that they could at least offer a model to the line up of "Cars to test drive" at the events they sponsor with the other models.
Was kind of disappointed that of the 3 Crossfires at the show, only one was a SRT6 roadster, the other 2 were '05 limited coupes.
Sorry for the venting, just gets me irked sometimes when I think I have to give my car to an idiot because of warranty issues!!!
