Re: Aftermarket Wheels Spacer problems
So I take the car over today to an auto place that works on foreign car to have the check the "torque" on the wheels and they found that they were torqued to 125-130
They torqued them all to 82 for me and checked the air. When they did that they found that the front left was WAY low..like 20lbs. He told me it could be that they did something to the tire or wheel..something possibly with the 'beads'. We also discussed the TPMS and the fact that the light has still not gone off although all four should be functioning now. He told me *he says he's a wheel/tire guy" that although a crossfire should reset itself, that that may not be the case when the tire and wheel have been replaced. He suggested that they would need to be set to the tire. VERY heavy sigh
You guys are my heros ... with all the information and direction you've given me so thanks again. So I'm thinking I give the tire a day or so and check the air and if it's low again that would mean that Tire and Wheel Connection screwed up the tire or wheel and they need to be responsible for replacing it. Thoughts..advice on all of this?
