Well I wouldn't call it an American Roadster. The Crossfire is designed by a British designer and built in Germany. It's essentially a Mercedes SLK (previous body style). I bought mine about a week ago and love it. I'm just kicking myself that I didn't take the one with the reddish brown interior. The grey interior was $1,000 cheaper for whatever reason so I took it.

I also looked at the Solstices. I love them, but like you said there's a long waiting list and they are priced way above MSRP right now. Also I needed a little more cargo area.
