Hi
re
The wife's crossfire is fitted with Uniroyal Rainsport 2 which replaced a set of Accelera Super Skiddies that were fitted when we bought the car. I cannot imagine why anyone would buy a performance car and fit dodgy rubber to it!!! The Uniroyals have proved to be very good so far, giving good grip in both wet (just as well this summer here in the UK) and dry conditions.
After talking to a few of the tyre people around here I can hazard a guess - they don't like repairing punctures after using the tyre weld and will point blank refuse only sell a new tyre National Tyres are on Holts can as a company that will and even sell it but my local one refuses to repair tyre if you use it (nice trick)

so you may be forced into a super skiddie if funds are a little tight and you get a puncture.
Stiil there are those that will - Formula 1 Autocentre here will as will some National out of my area
