Well, not me, that's for sure. Turns out it's the SKREEM / halo ring.
Thanks for all the advice, everybody. If there's a silver lining to this cloud, I didn't even know about the relay module issue before this happened. Now I have a re-soldered module that isn't going to cause a second breakdown.
